This concept is adapted from Nancy Taylor's post on the Hero Arts blog. Hero Arts School Animals images were used on metal-rimmed tags from Staples.
Images were colored in using markers, then covered front and back of the tag with a thin layer of Microglaze. Microglaze resists water and fingerprints, but you won't know it's there.
Made in the USA by JudiKins.
I made these out of desperation. With three kids, they open a bottle of water and leave it out, then claim it is not theirs. Times THREE!! Times FIVE TIMES A DAY!! I'm tired of the waste. This eliminates that and has worked very well...for the past eleven days at least...
Hairbands are from Wal-Mart, and finished tags were quickly wired into place. The bands are sturdy and stretchy enough to go around the bottle's middle, so the tag doesn't smack you in the face when you're trying to take a drink.
supplies: Copic markers - Ellen Hutson
Hero Arts stamps - their entire line! - Stampin' Treasures

I LOVE this idea and am so going to do it for my girls. They do the same thing and then I have half full water bottles all over. OR one will drink almost all of theirs and then pick up the others and claim it as their own. Fights ensue....it is crazy! Thanks for the great idea Cindy!

What a great idea. These are adorable. Good for kids of all ages. I have a 24 year old living at home and he still leaves 1/2 full bottles of water and energy drinks around the house. Thanks for the great idea.

I really love how you adapted the idea to go around the middle of the bottle instead of the top. And yours are so adorable!! I am definitely making some of these for gifts!

OMGoodness, this is a great idea and cute, too, Cindy! Good grief, I didn't know you had all A named kids, too! :)

this is a great idea. I have also made something very similar to identify the jugs of liquids for church parties, etc. It keeps them from opening the lids or asking me for the hundredth time! Love this idea!
