Today's project was inspired by Sweet Miss Daisy - Anna Wight - I bought a TON of Daisy D paper like the Marketplace Floral used here after being inspired by a single card of hers back in 2006.
Lockhart Stamp Company's new Buttermilk Hen was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Classic Cream cardstock. Select areas were quickly colored with Copic markers. Buttermilk Hen was stamped again onto the Daisy D paper and trimmed.
The trimmed portion was adhered, and additional parts of the stamped image were colored with Copic Markers. (I ended up adding to the grounding line with YG91 after this photo was taken). A wing section was stamped onto the Daisy D paper again, then trimmed and adhered with a foam dimensional.
Martha Stewart brown twill ribbon was folded and notched like Anna's card here, overlaid with an A Muse sentiment and held together with a 7gypsies brass paper fastener, and a snippet of linen colored fine string tied in a bow. A dab of clear-drying glue on the knot secures the bow from curious little fingers.
Card interior - snippets of paper destined for the trash created a mini collage on the card interior. A Muse sentiment. Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa.
Best wishes for a wonderful Monday!

Oh my goodness - this is brilliant! I often think I'm creative - and then I see something like this that I NEVER would think to do and I'm in awe.
And that particular line of paper has also been one of my all-time favorites. I'm inspired!
