Played a bit with October Afternoon's 9 to 5 - gift packaging for a pair of earrings - used this tutorial for the dimensional envelope. Prima nest, doily, 7gypsies velvet leaves, seam binding.
The base is thick chipboard covered neatly with 8x8 paper. It measures about 4-1/2-inches by 3-1/2-inches. Project was created at the request of a friend for her mother.
Here's how the earrings slide into the envelope - used a 1/4-inch depth for the handmade envelope.
Magetic snap closure - the clasp is totally hidden so it closes like magic...one magnet is under the button, the other is located the inside of the envelope. Happy Memorial Day and best wishes for a great week!

This is lovely with that sweet birds nest. Great packaging gets me every time!

What a beautiful & totally cool gift/package!!!
I also wanted to tell you how beautiful your kitchen turned out! And I agree with the Valium for stainless, and dare I say dark wood floors!!! How did they become popular? Mine drive me bonkers, particularly with our blonde dog....
Sigh.
Happy memorial day!
