I turned 44 earlier this month - a big milestone (for me)...my dad was 44 when he passed away suddenly back in 1983. Non-smoker, active cyclist, fit...but didn't eat greens/salads...a stress test would have found the blocked arteries, but those weren't standard during physicals back then.
The trainers at the gym I frequent know that I have a 'parental death under 50' - and all I have to do is trip on the treadmill and they are dialing 9-1-1 (kidding here). So this year is kinda monunental to me.
I created a bunch of thank you notes for me to send to friends and family based on Wanda's layout. Paper Smooches sentiment, Memory Box dies and solid cardstock (Meadow used), Cakewalk papers and silver pearls.
My friend Bevie actually had a cake delivered to my door, and it was amazing! Happy hump day and here's to a fun year ahead!

This card is beautiful! Love the silver pearls. I'll have to get some with my next order from you. I bet Woodland Park is coming to you soon. Taylor has the 8x8 paper pack in her store.

Oh Cindy, I had no idea that you lost your dad that young. However, I so happy that you made it past this milestone. I sure hope that you had a wonderful birthday and enjoyed at least a piece of the cake ! :) Your card is wonderful by the way !

My husband has now outlived his father by 20 years. Biology is not destiny. Continue taking care of yourself and live long. BTW-love the card and the color choices.
