Poppystamps classic screen door die - Using a box cutter I removed the screening out of our old screen door and saved it - used it on today's project. Door knob is a silver pearl; finished card measures 3.75 x 7.25 inches.
Door uses Memory Box Graphite cardstock - and I cut two - one for the card front and the other for the inside (cut the door away from the 'hinge'). This sealed the screening and hid the edges should the door be 'opened'. Sentiment is Hero Arts, and the shingle layering was done like yesterday's card: 3/4 inch strips that when layered measure 1/2 inch in height (1/4 inch overlap). Shingles were inspired by Kittie.
Interior sentiment is from Ali Edwards (love, Ali) and the custom envelope and papers used with this project are October Afternoon Seaside collection. Thanks for stopping by!

This is adorable Cindy! Love the screen door!!!!

Great idea saving the screen from your door. My husband was too fast for me, he did it while I wasn't around, so I never noticed it until after the garbage was picked up - LOL! He knows me too well! I really love this card, really so special!

This is neat-o! Love the door and how detailed it is. Siding is great, as are your colors. Sure looks beachy to me as we head toward autumn. Thanks, because I am not quite ready to say so long to summer.

This card is so cool. I am impressed by the screen, what a great recycling job. Yippeee! The weekend is here. Tomorrow is our 33rd Anniversary, where does time go?

what a clever idea. I have been saving the old screen door to experiment with making paper but CASing this card seems a lot more likely to happen. Thanks for the inspiration. Pinning.
