Inspired by Kittie Caracciolo and her amazing work with Memory Box and poppystamps dies - I opened my packages of the grand window and shutter, and was amazed at the detail in the die-cut images.
I had to google 'shutters' to see how they are attached to a house, as I don't have any and couldn't find the binoculars to look at my neighbor's house across the street, cuz they have them
!
I cut 3/4-inch strips of Bazzill Card Shop Taffy and layered them - exposing 1/2-inch on each, last strip at the top was 1/2-inch in height. Window interior paper is Bazzill Wayfarer 6x6. Finished card size is 4.5 x 6 inches; sentiment is Papertrey Ink.

Cindy, you crack me up laughing....looking for your binoculars. OMG. I can't stop laughing.
Those dies are just amazing.....your card is just beautiful.

Love this. I have most of these dies and should attempt this myself. I just realized you carry them. I have to order the shutters

Cindy -
I love this! It is so sweet and really love the color choices. That window valance is just perfect! I had a mental picture of you looking through binoculars at your neighbor's home and started laughing.

Your window is beautiful! I have the window die and have contemplated those shutters. Looks like I'd probably need that punch to make the darling lace valance, too. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

Ok, so the shutters go on the wish list. The card is so pretty and I love your idea of using the border punch for window dressing.
We have shutters on our house and I had to go outside to look, they are not attached to the windows. One more day of work and it is play time!

I LOVE your card Cindy! This window is so much fun. I do have the flower boxes in both sizes as you know, but I never did buy the shutters. Funny how you never know what goes where until you have to deal with it! Where do the shutters go?! Never thought about it!
