...it is Sunday late afternoon as I type this, as we probably won't have power for a few days - last year with the freak Halloween storm some neighbors were without power for five days.
We are in central New Jersey - Hunterdon County - and this home and property are as prepared as possible. Wishing everyone a safe journey thorugh this tri-fecta plus full moon fiasco that approaches the East Coast.
Outside my studio window at any given moment, I usually see deer, squirrels and/or rabbits. Nothing. No living creature other than human and pet have been seen outside since yesterday.
Eerie to say the least.
To keep my mind off of what is looming weather-wise, here are a few projects I made earlier using Graphic 45's Olde Curiosity Shoppe 8x8 paper pad and sticker sheet.
Finished card pocket sizes are 4.5 x 7 inches. I made a bunch of these - enough to use up the entire 8x8 pad and most of the stickers.
Lots of stitching and texture on these. Yes, custom envelopes for all. Will detail how I make my custom envelopes including my shortcuts hopefully Wednesday - will depend on if we have power or not.
If you placed an order with the store, all orders are boxed and postage/labels are printed - if there is mail service all will go as usual - even in the worst snowstorms our mail carrier has arrived for parcel pick-up faithfully. Here's to a safe and great week!

Cindy, I will be thinking about you and this storm..stay safe. Bev

These card pockets are beautiful! I love to look at them and see what dies I recognize. And love how you use different embellishments and make everything look so good. I've been thinking of you being in the path of the storm heading your way. Maybe it will make a detour and not hit so bad. That happens here in the Seattle area. We do get some bad storms from up north from Alaska sometimes in the winter. 100MPH winds and rain or it's snow. But we don't get these much. Too bad you can't hop a quick plane to Seattle and wait out the storm here. It's interesting that our animal friends outside know when something is off and can often sense it before we do. Say, Ellen is carrying WPlus9 stuff now! And I am using October Afternoon Holiday Style papers with some WPlus9 dies. The bright pretty colors in this paper pad are perfect with the WPlus9 Quilt2 die I am using!

Cindy -
Love the card pockets, they are so sweet!
Please be safe my dear. My mother-in-law is in Toms River and she said the winds were getting really bad. Winds are starting to get stronger up here as well. Take care of yourself. Will be thinking of you.

Thinking about you and hoping for the best! Heard from family I have in Toms River and I know it is kinda ugly in NJ. Fingers crossed that things are okay for you and yours. :)

Hi cindy,
I hope that you & the family are safe. I know NJ and many parts of NY were hit pretty hard with the storm. I moved out of NY recently but my heart & mind is uneasy with the whole situation as my MIL and many friends are without power & even homes. Sending out some prayers to you.
