Mrs. Coburn was my humanities teacher in high school - I recall her teaching that gothic arched windows were to keep the human eye looking upward, toward the heavens. She was an amazing teacher.
Ranger's alcohol inks were muddled on their glossy cardstock, then die cut. Memory Box Grand Gothic Luminary Window die used with the Grand Gothic Window. Papertrey sentiment and banner die; Making Memories brad. Memory Box solid cardstocks used (boysenberry, vanilla bean, kraft (interior), squash.

I love how this turned out Cindy. Elegant and beautiful!

U are making wonderful cards and projects. I especially enjoy your stories and I never knew about the arches keeping your eyes moving up toward heaven.
I like how you used vellum for the back of your window!
Thanks for sharing....Have "fun" at the gym.

Beautiful card plus extra points for remembering a teacher's name. Just yesterday I was thinking about how many teacher names I have forgotten. The one I remember the most was my first grade teacher. We are having a very stormy day, hope your's is going well.

This is beautiful! Love what your teacher said. Very appropriate for a sympathy card. Or anyone struggling with things.
