A few answers to your questions from the previous post - teacher notebooks:
1. I will be updating this Typepad blog and moving older posts that are currently on Blogger/Blogspot to here. Typepad is much easier to load posts and photos to, and since time is precious this was a huge factor in my switching. That and some folks on Blogger having their entire blog disappear. (!!!) Freckled Fun Designs (link on the right) will be making it look snazzy over the next few weeks. :)
2. The type of Carl cutter I use is a simple, 12" DC210. It cuts the Staples legal pads, which are 50 pages each, in half. Takes more than a few swipes to cut the pads, but this is much faster (and cheaper when you factor in the gas!) than going to Staples to have them cut them for me.
For today's post I am using my 6x6 paper template to create three fast cards. The finished card sizes are A2 - 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". Simply cut the two sheets of 6x6 paper, align pieces as shown in the link, adhere a focal point, and...BAM! You'll have three cards done in mere minutes.
I am using Memory Box pre-folded cards in color Meadow, and the 6x6 papers are from their Sprout collection.
Ellen Hutson now has available for you - buttons and flowers - that coordinate with the Memory Box cardstock line! These quality embellishments are from Hero Arts, and Ellen has them all - yummy Spring, Summer and Neutral colors! I will have a post for you tomorrow showing not only a project with them but also my storage idea as well. For these three cards I used a mulberry flower from Ellen's Spring embellishments.
Using the Lockhart Roses and Daisies dress image, I quickly stamped three of the dresses on white cardstock then matted in Licorice. Colored in with Copic markers. Star Dust Stickles was used to highlight the roses on the dress!
Thank you for stopping by and hope to see you tomorrow!
