Inchie Thursday is on time this week - unlike last week... Today's post features two cards - geared toward that warm java we love and called c o f f e e ... 
The first card features Lockhart Stamp Company's Hot Chocolate, but it's a foamy latte today! I am using Inchie Notes (3-1/2" square cardstock notecards with white interiors) and Inchie Papers (all from Inchie Arts). An Inchie Papers package contains 108, 1-1/2" small patterned paper squares. Wonderful detail for quick Inchie cards, or adapt them as I did here:
Starting with a White Inchie Square (a thick, premium matboard 1" square base) and a light tan Copic marker I swept the surface of the Inchie Square with the Copic chisel tip. This altered the color of the matboard and the material these Inchie Squares are made of is sheer bliss to color on - like buttah!
Once the Inchie Square surface was covered the Lockhart coffee image was stamped with Palette Noir, then a shadow (A Muse) was added with Lake Mist (Adirondack - Ranger) to 'ground' the cup.
To add the color to the cup, I used the center of an Inchie Paper. Because the paper is thin enough the snip in will now show, and this makes cutting out the cup easy and stress-free. And it spares a square. (Seinfeld, anyone? 
)
After mounting all the layers to the Inchie Note and adding a snippet of printed twill (May Arts), white Puffy Paint (Tulip - available at most large craft stores) added the foam and I zapped it with a heat tool until it was nice and fluffy.
The second coffee card features my friend Pine's coffee set from Papertrey and uses the same layout as the Inchie Coffee Card. Mug was stamped onto 7gypsies paper then cut out & adhered to kraft paper. Memory Box Licorice mat and Jack o' Lantern card base.
