Funky vegetable couture dresses from Lockhart Stamp Company dress up a rendition of Mish's Quarter Notecards. For this gift set, I created six notecards with six envelopes. Each finished notecard measures 4-1/2" x 6-1/4", to fit the clear-lidded box (Nashvillewraps.com item #SB738).
Nestabilities petite ovals (large) were die cut from Memory Box Licorice and Nestabilities oval scallops (small) were cut from white cardstock. Image was stamped with Palette Noir, then colored with Copic markers.
Licorice cardstock notecard bases measure 4-1/2" x 6-1/4". The white cardstock layer is a smidge smaller than that. The October Afternoon papers (Hometown collection) were cut into 4-7/16" x 2" and used as panels for each notecard to add a splash of color.
The great thing about these notecards is all Memory Box cardstocks (save kraft) have a white backing, so if continuing a note onto the back of the notecard one can - even though that layer is black on the top, the underside is white.
Stamped & colored oval scallop pieces were mounted onto the Licorice ovals with foam dimensionals.
The professional gift presentation box was created using a clear transparency and printer, then trimmed to a strip sized to the width of the box lid. Adhered to inside of clear lid using a bit of adhesive (Kokuyo). Patterned paper was cut, sized to fit the entire inside lid, then adhered with a bit of Kokuyo adhesive at the corners. Strano Ribbon (5/8" Madge) secures the gift box.
'just a little note...' sentiment is from A Muse.
