Inchie Thursday: My friend Michelle Wooderson created a card style referred to as the 'tent topper'. It is an A2 card (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") cut it down to a 4-1/4" square, with a topper added to it - Mish's original tent topper post is here. I created one of Mishie's tent toppers in miniature, Inchie style!
Using Blue/Lavender Inchie Notes, I added layer of Basic Grey's Marrakesh paper, along with a punched lace border (Martha Stewart) and some double-sided satin ribbon.
For the card topper, Nestabilities dies to the rescue! Lockhart IB Snail was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock, then quickly colored with Copic Markers. Lockhart Snail image was trimmed to 7/8" square, then mounted onto a Black Inchie Square, followed by a Nestability scallop square from the Marrakech paper. 'Happy Birthday' sentiment is from Lockhart Stamp Company.
A coordinating Basic Grey Marrakech glazed brad was mounted to the snail's shell for an eye-catching embellishment - these brads add that 'extra somethin' zingy' to a card!
Fast and fun! Interior sentiment is from Hero Arts, envelopes are sold with the Inchie Notes. Happy Inchie Thursday!
