My dear friend, Val Stangle, developed an incredible gift box, which you can view directions for on her blog. I was so excited when she revealed this, as it creates an ideal gift solution for those folks that are difficult to find something for!
I also incorporated Michelle Wooderson-style single-sided notecard concept.
I began by stamping Lockhart's IB Escargot image onto Nestabilities white cardstock Pinked Circles using Rich Cocoa Memento ink, coloring with Copic markers and matting them with a Parsley cardstock (Memory Box) circle. A celery brad takes up some of the white space and adds interest.
The gift box was created using Webster's Pages - Make A Wish, and I used this decorative paper in strips to the single-sided notecards. Begonia (Memory Box) cardstock strips were trimmed using a Martha Stewart border punch. Notecards measure 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". Color coordinating Begonia envelopes create a professional look and feel. The 'snail mail' (A Muse stamp) tag on the notecard box was created using Spellbinders Tags, a Copic airbrush system and Copic R20 marker, and celery silk ribbon.
Notecards were constructed using a white cardstock base measuring 4-1/8" x 5-3/8", lining with a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Mocha (Memory Box) cardstock. Snail Mail sentiment (A Muse) was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink. I think I will be keeping these! hee...
