I've been busy doing calligraphy addresses on nicely-sized 5-1/2" square envelopes...and creating 64 invitations to my eldest child's 8th grade graduation dance that I volunteered for. Her class has been in the same, quaint, little school since Kindergarten...and they will be headed to the high school next year. Big jump - 400 kids (Kindergarten through 8th grade), to around 3500 (9th-12th). yikes!
The cards measure 5-1/4" each and are made with Memory Box Licorice cardstock. Almost done.
Happy belated Mother's Day to you - whether you are caring for a two or four or more-legged versions - we had a good one here and my mother kindly took this photo on Sunday:
Daughters are 14 (this month) and 8; son is 11. I am in heels and the eldest is in socks in this photo - she continues to stretch seemingly overnight.
And my son running to give me a hug - so sweet. I'm wearing a dress from Talbots that I purchased 17 or 18 years ago. It fit rather loosely on Sunday I am very happy to say.
Daddy was out of town for a few days...the children greeted him at the end of the driveway.
More driveway art by the children...Some song by an artist - lol...
...and lyrics too. I have no desire to be 14 again...just hope she gets through it with minimal pain...lol.
Best wishes for a great week - back to lettering addresses...
