Teacher gift cards - using October Afternoon Schoolhouse papers and embellishments. I created these for my youngest's third grade teachers last month.
Each card showcase a pop-up feature that houses a gift card. The cards measure 4" x 4" - video tutorial here.
Some home photos...Etsy (and Pottery Barn) pillows in a hallway near the foyer - church pew from a few years ago (ha ha) salvaged from a local church built prior to the Revolutionary War:
I'm loving neutral tones in the home during these warm months.
Pottermania: I did not see part one of the seventh Harry Potter movie on purpose. I wanted to enjoy seeing part one followed by part two in a theater on opening night of part two. It was quite difficult for me not to break down and see part one...
Alas, the closest theater participating in this double feature was in downtown Philadelphia. At midnight, obviously. Not. Happening. I am simply not that adventurous nor daring.
I'll see part two at my convenience in the theater sometime this or next month - I've waited this long, a little longer won't hurt me; meanwhile Amazon delivered part one and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all in the household last evening.
I leave you with one of my most favorite quotes from the series:
"It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."
—J. K. Rowling
If you are headed to Chicago next week hopefully I will see you at CHA. Best wishes for a great week.
