The chef/owner of a local restaurant we frequent got married last weekend, and I created some handy notecards as part of their gift - I designed these so they would be within one-quarter inch thickness and standard A2 size, so standard postage would suffice.
October Afternoon 5 & Dime papers used, along with Parsley cardstock for the card bases; the jumbo metal-edged tags are a little over two inches in diameter. Martha doily edger punch. The card base size is 4-1/4" square, and with the computer generated title the width is extended to 5-1/2".
I created all the components first, then constructed the cards assembly-line style. Utensil punch is from All Night Media that I've had maybe a decade. Punches - you don't have to feed them, or water them - and when you need one...oh man are you so happy that you have it... !
Using one of Spellbinders' tags and Want2Scrap pearl bling, and a utensil set, I created this embellishment...
...and positioned it on the clear-lidded box (nashvillewraps.com # SB738) that housed the dozen cards.
It is unusual that I create more than eight cards/envelopes per box - but I felt she would use these as thank yous, and with their names on it, well let's just say I have a to-do to make some with Ron's and my name on them. I love the square style, and the fact I get use a standard envelope with them due to the text strip.
Thanks for stopping by and best wishes for a great week.
