Inspiration for today's project is from this card on Dave's blog - this Amira Memory Box die is incredibly detailed and absolutely exquisite. I saw a lot of rolled papers used in projects at this past CHA, and seeing that card on Dave's blog prompted me to try them.
A most excellent way to use up scraps - I've used October Afternoon Cherry Hill for this card. Utilized Scor-Tape for adhering. Change the colors and paper scraps and you could do sympathy cards in this style. Very sturdy - mailing one to a friend across the country so we'll see how it fairs within our postal system.
