Close-up of the tag art - uses the Sizzix Matchbox, Frameworks Trellis dies, Corked Vials, idea-ology knobs, Wallflower paper, feathers, Prima leaves, fine linen thread. Seam binding was hand-dyed using Distress Inks, water spritzer and a heat tool.

Custom card for a customer at the Saturday market for this past admin day - his assistant is 64 years of age and calls herself a 'secretary', and this customer specifically wanted the card to read 'secretary'...not the current terminology. The business deals with training dogs to find humans in earthquake rubble, hence the 'scents' pun.

Hunterdon County, New Jersey, is known as 'horse country' - lots and lots of horse farms here. Doesn't matter when one travels out and about - horse trailers are commonplace on the roads, as are vast, open fields with these beautiful animals trotting about.
At the market a few Saturdays ago a customer asked if I could make a few sets of notecards for her with horses. I did the above styles in six different colors (using up the retired Memory Box cardstock colors) per set (made four sets of six cards each) and she loved them - my favorite - and hers - is the second from the left.
Some sets use the Lucienne Tile; other sets incorporate a pierced strip of cardstock - created using a metal piercing template (Onare) I purchased from Ellen Hutson a long time ago. Horse dies used: Poppystamps' Galloping Stallion and Trotting Pony.
Speed tip when die cutting multiple card bases with a border die: I trimmed thick chipboard to one-inch by six-inches and used it as a spacer when lining up the card base with the tile die - kept everything consistently spaced while die cutting. Hope you are having a great Wednesday!

Some pre-Easter/Spring projects: covered candy for friends using Doodlebug Springtime and Poppystamps' Grand Bunny die and a white pom-pom from the stash.
The two younger kids' teacher gift bags using more Doodlebug Springtime papers, treat bags and embellishments. Teacher names were printed in MS Word and these were done quickly and each child signed the back of the bag. I call Doodlebug paper lines 'happy paper'.
