A thank you card for my own use - finished card measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches and was inspired by Roree's card here.
MFT fishtail and tag dies, October Afternoon Public Library papers, old Stampin' Up ribbon and Maya Road trim, Sizzix Mini Rosette die used with a vintage shank button. Sentiment was created on my computer using Peoni Pro (purchased on etsy) and Calibri fonts.
Although highly dimensional, this is a mailable card.
To create the envelope: cut sheet of Public Library cardstock to 6 x 12 inches, scored in 1/2 inch on each side, then score again the other direction at 5-5/8 and again at 11-1/4 inches. Cut another piece of Public Library cardstock to 4 x 5.25 inches and adhere a piece of bubble wrap (the small bubbles - often referred to as 3/16 inch size) to one side. This serves as a protective insert. Also shown in this post. By making the envelope wider it easily and comfortably accommodates the rosette. Postage surcharge applies. Hope your week is off to a great start!
