This 'Robot #4' is my favorite of all of the robots from Tim Holtz for Stampers Anonymous - here's an image of all the rubber stamp 'bots:
Image was stamped with black ink and watercolored using Distress markers - used the image on the product packaging as a color guide:
I added an idea-ology Mini Fastener brad to the center of this guy's control panel:
Finished card size: 4.25 x 5.5 inches. Metal tape (Home Depot) was adhered to cardstock then run through a sizzix embossing folder - cardstock layers are Bazzill Jade and Lagoon. Sentiment was created on my computer (MFT pierced fishtail flag die) and the gear brad embellishment. Stitched Square dies are Open Studio.
The metal tape from Home Depot comes in three-inch wide spools - it's a great substitute for silver cardstock if you don't need wider than three inches. My rule of thumb is: I use metal tape adhered to cardstock, but if the project calls for anything wider than three inches I use silver cardstock.
