7gypsies 'love' tag from the stash. This was a custom order - lady and her husband just had a vintage Victrola restored and she wanted that somehow represented in the card. Definition snippet is from a 1940's Webster dictionary.
Card interior - Penny Black steel die used with Memory Box Sugar Plum cardstock. Diecut was edged with Distress Vintage Photo ink. Hope your Valentine day is sunny and full of chocolate!

Ancient Tim Holtz paper from when he did an 9x9 inch cardstock series with Design Originals...remember those? What...maybe 15 years ago, back when he was on the Carrol Duvall show. The cardstock I used that looks distressed is the reverse of the House Numbers paper:
Background patterned paper behind tree is from Graphic 45 Mon Amour line. Die cut edges from the Tree Triptych were inked with Distress Ground Espresso ink. Ribbon is May Arts.
Finished card size: 4-1/2 x 6-1/4 inches.

Customer ordered a custom pet sympathy card, and I created two for her to choose from.
Card size is under 6x6 inches square; fits into a 6-inch square envelope. An envelope exceeding 6-1/8 inches in height is classified as a large letter, not a standard one, so I make every effort to keep cards under this height when creating. More about envelope sizes here at www.usps.com.
This was the design she ended up selecting. Below is a close-up. Pearl spray is from Zva; dog was colored with Distress markers then blended with water; nose is a Copic Special Black #110.
and the interior - sentiment is computer generated and the font is my favorite clean style font: Gotham Rounded Light:

All I could think when I was stamping the pie, was Jerry Seinfeld asking rhetorically, "Who doesn't like pie!?"
Poppystamps' new stamp set, Gobble Til You Wobble, has this adorable little stove which I fell in love with. Stove is cut from Bazzill Wax Lips and the pie was watercolored.

The branches in the background are a Twiggy Tree diecut, and the papers used are Photo Play Autumn Day, Bazzill Candle (card base) and Bazzill Yam (thin horizontal strip) . Finished card size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.
The little guy was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and colored with Zig Clean Color markers.
Oval is MFT, inked with Distress Antique Linen ink and a blending tool. The steam swirl comes with the Cup of Cheer stamp set. On the mug both the snowflake and heart are in the stamp set too.

These adorable squirrels could be two dear friends, or a couple! New, versatile clear stamps and dies from Poppystamps called Cup of Cheer.
Squirrels were watercolored with Zig Clean Color markers - patterned paper is Doodlebug's Friendly Forest.
Squirrels out here in NJ are a brown with bits of gray. My pop-pop used to call them 'rats with big tails', but I think they are cute!
Card base is new Bazzill Card Shoppe Pale Rose - finished card size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches. Layout is adapted from Debbie Olson's super sweet card.

Before I had the online store, I was a professional balloon twister.
Typically I did big events - working with a face painter, or with a face painter and a caricature artist. Lots of work for surrounding township events. A lot of birthday parties. A lot of corporate holiday parties. It was an enormous amount of fun to play an extrovert for a change.
I'd arrive with this:
and get the party started!
As a result of the years of speedily tying knots in latex, and for the last decade and a half of using the heck out of scissors...I had developed arthritis in my right thumb - to the point I couldn't bend it.
I did the cortisone shots...and they worked. For a while.
Cold weather made it worse. Where do I live? Northeast USA.
Good news: my thumb was fixed surgically this past Tuesday - they knocked me out completely for it. I get the stitches out in a few days.

I would do this surgery again. I can bend my thumb! Can I get a yay for opposing digits!
